Nakar Rooftop: two floors of views in the heart of Palma

Cuit on the 8th floor, the terrace on the 9th

The Nakar Hotel stands in the middle of Avinguda de Jaume III, a short walk from the Paseo de Mallorca. At the very top, the hotel has created a double space. On the 8th floor, Cuit brings together a bar and a restaurant with large glass walls, extended by a terrace; a staircase leads to the 9th floor, a wooden roof terrace with a twelve-metre pool, sun loungers and lounge areas.

From up there, the eye takes in the Cathedral and the old town, Bellver Castle on its hill, the port and the whole Bay of Palma. The show is particularly fine at sunset, when the façades of the old town turn golden.

Mallorcan cuisine at lunch, cocktails and DJs in the evening

Cuit, run by a Mallorcan chef, reinterprets the island's recipes with seasonal produce: a menu at lunch and dinner, a tasting menu, corporate menus and a Sunday brunch, except in July and August. The 8th-floor bar serves coffee, wine and cocktails all day. In the evening, the top-floor terrace becomes a cocktail bar where the music is chosen by the house DJs.

Practical information

During the day, the roof and its pool are reserved for hotel guests. Outside visitors are welcome from 7.30pm to midnight, from mid-May to mid-October; the bar and restaurant on the 8th floor, meanwhile, stay open all year (bar every day from 11am to 11pm, restaurant Monday to Saturday, lunch and dinner). Booking advised for the restaurant. Smoking is allowed on the roof, not in Cuit. No parking at the hotel: public car park on the Paseo de Mallorca, 200 m away.
