Cityzen: the Ángel de la Independencia seen from the 38th floor
At the top of the Sofitel, on Reforma
The Sofitel Mexico City Reforma occupies one of the tallest towers on the Paseo de la Reforma, a few steps from the Ángel de la Independencia. Right at the top, on the 38th floor, Cityzen opens onto a wooden terrace edged with glass railings, extended by a room with large windows and a long bar. The view plunges down onto the golden column of the Ángel, then follows the avenue to the Bosque and Chapultepec Castle, with the mountains closing off the horizon in the distance. At dusk, the avenue lights up before the guests' eyes.
From breakfast to the last drink
The day begins with a French- and Mexican-inspired breakfast, served facing the city. In the afternoon and evening, the menu offers bites and gourmet plates, prepared with responsibly sourced produce, to go with the house cocktails. The venue welcomes hotel guests and locals alike, who come to celebrate an occasion or end the week with a drink at sunset.
An atmosphere that rises with the night
After dark, the lighting becomes softer, electronic music takes over and the terrace becomes one of the party spots of Reforma. The armchairs and sofas on the terrace suit romantic evenings and nights out with friends alike; those afraid of heights may feel dizzy.
