The Blasky occupies the top floor of a former office building in southern Sachsenhausen, now the Vienna House by Wyndham Frankfurt South hotel. The building is discreet, but on the 6th floor the setting changes: a Roaring Twenties-style room, a central bar and two wooden terraces facing the city centre.

From the restaurant's large terrace, with about fifty seats, or from the bar terrace with its high tables, the view takes in the whole skyline of the banking district, above the rooftops and trees of the south bank of the River Main, and stretches on a clear day as far as the Taunus hills. At sunset, the towers light up one by one.

House cocktails and regional cuisine

The bar menu lists more than 90 drinks. The house creations, such as the Blasky Bramble or the Vienna Sour with apple wine syrup, cost from €12 to €16, a spritz €11.50 and the alcohol-free cocktails from €7 to €10. On the bar side, you can nibble on a burger, fried cauliflower or Hessian tapas. The restaurant, with a glass-walled kitchen open to the dining room, works with regional produce, à la carte or in set menus. On Sundays, a buffet brunch is served from 11am to 2pm. The terrace can be hired for parties and weddings.

Practical information

The bar is open Monday to Saturday from 6pm to midnight, the restaurant Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm to 10pm. Closed annually between Christmas and mid-January. Table booking online or by telephone, advised for dinner and brunch. The Breslauer Straße tram stop is a few minutes' walk away.
