On the rooftops of central Nice

Bella Ciela occupies the roof of the Nice Centre Hotel, the former Mercure Nice Centre Notre-Dame, at 28 avenue Notre-Dame. The hotel faces the Notre-Dame church, about 300 metres from Nice-Ville station and not far from Place Masséna, the Promenade des Anglais and Old Nice. Perched on the 8th floor, the terrace with some forty covers offers a view over the city's rooftops and the silhouette of the Notre-Dame Basilica, especially at sunset. One level above, the pool set on the roof is reserved for hotel guests.

House cocktails, tapas and live evenings

The menu highlights house and signature cocktails, with or without alcohol, served with Mediterranean-inspired tapas for sharing. The colourful decor sets the tone for a festive rooftop, designed as much for a drink with friends as for an evening with colleagues. From June to September, concerts and live entertainment take place on the terrace. The bar also shows sporting events, and the hotel presents the venue as a cocktail bar, a sports bar and a co-working space all at once. You can pay by bank card, in cash or with meal vouchers.

The bar is open every day from 9am to 11.30pm; hours may change with the season, so it is best to check before coming outside the summer. Online table reservations. Smart casual dress required. Getting there: 28 avenue Notre-Dame, opposite the church; Nice-Ville station about 300 metres away on foot, and tram 2 direct from the airport, 7 km away.
