Le Vertigo Rooftop: the Mediterranean beside a rooftop pool
The top floor of the Pullman La Pléiade
On rue des Pertuisanes, between place de la Comédie and the Antigone district, the four-star Pullman La Pléiade Montpellier Centre hotel devotes its eighth and top floor to its restaurant and bar. Le Vertigo Rooftop is laid out around a contemporary, fully glazed dining room, a wine cellar where the bottles are on display and a terrace running alongside the hotel pool. The restaurant and bar welcome Montpellier locals and hotel guests alike; swimming, however, is reserved for residents.
A panoramic terrace
From the terrace, as from the dining room's large picture windows, the view takes in the architecture of Antigone, the city's roofs and, on the horizon, the hills. In summer the terrace is shaded; in winter it is covered and heated, so the venue can be enjoyed all year round.
Bistronomy with southern roots
The menu follows a resolutely Mediterranean line. The chef, a native of Sète, showcases his speciality, rouille sétoise, and works with Aubrac beef and Mediterranean fish. Expect to pay around fifty euros on average for a meal. Later in the day, the bar is ideal for an aperitif or after-work drinks over cocktails, with a happy hour, concerts and open-air evenings. In fine weather, you can also eat by the pool.
Practical information
In 2026, the restaurant serves daily from noon to 2pm and from 7pm to 10pm; the bar is open all year round. Bookings by phone or online. Antigone tram stop is a two-minute walk away, and the hotel has valet parking. The venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility and pets are allowed.
An elegant address for dinner or a drink up high, in the heart of Montpellier.
