Skye: the red pool of the Hotel Unique and the São Paulo skyline

A roof that has become an emblem

The Hotel Unique stands on Avenida Brigadeiro Luís Antônio, between the Jardins and Ibirapuera Park. On its roof, Skye is arranged around a 25-metre pool with red tiles, edged by a wooden deck, sofas and outdoor tables. The view takes in the canopy of the park, a skyline surprisingly full of trees for a metropolis of this size and, in the distance, the line of skyscrapers along Avenida Paulista. At sunset, the city turns orange; at night, the illuminated pool takes over. Swimming is reserved for hotel guests: visitors come for the bar and the restaurant.

A globe-trotting menu and DJs every night

The cuisine travels from Japan, with sushi and sashimi, to Italy, France, Peru and Brazil, and more than half of the menu is vegetarian or vegan. At the bar, signature cocktails sit alongside reinvented classics, most at around R$68. DJs play on the roof every night: from 6pm on Sunday, 7pm from Monday to Thursday and 8pm on Friday and Saturday. A corner of the deck can be reserved for a drinks reception or a group dinner.

Practical information

Dinner Monday to Saturday from 6pm to 12.30am, Sundays and public holidays from 6pm to 11.30pm; lunch on weekdays from noon to 3.30pm, at weekends from 1pm to 3.30pm. In the evening, reservations are restricted to hotel guests until 7.30pm; outside visitors are seated on a first-come, first-served basis and access is closed when the roof is full.
