A lookout above the park
The Museu de Arte Contemporânea of the University of São Paulo occupies a large building on Avenida Pedro Álvares Cabral, directly opposite Ibirapuera Park. Its 8th and top floor is home to Vista: a vast, long glass-walled room extended by a terrace running along the façade. On one side, the canopy of the park and the obelisk; on the other, the traffic of the major avenues and the towers stretching to the horizon. In the late afternoon, the sun sets behind the skyline, then the city lights come on one by one.
Brazilian cuisine and an open-air bar
The restaurant revisits the flavours of Brazil's five regions in signature dishes, with a set lunch menu on weekdays. For a drink, the more relaxed Vista Balcão sets up on the terrace with cocktails and small plates to share, ideal for an aperitif facing the sunset.
