The romantic rooftop bars in Madrid on the map
Good to know
Our editors recommend these rooftops for couples: a fairly intimate setting, tables for two, soft lighting in the evening or a fine view. The atmosphere can still vary with the day and time, and a spot that is quiet on weeknights may be lively at weekends, with music or a DJ. Book ahead and ask for a terrace table, ideally around sunset, mentioning if it is a special occasion, as some venues can arrange a small touch. Dress to suit the venue and bring an extra layer, since it is often cooler up high. Check opening hours and the cancellation policy on the official website.
