The Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui rises on Middle Road, a few streets from the Avenue of Stars and the waterfront. A lift leads directly to the Swim Club, set on the roof on the 50th floor, next to the hotel's infinity pool. You reach it through a corridor of mosaics and rippled glass evoking the reflections of water, before emerging into a warm-toned room arranged around a circular bar. Outside, sofas and beach chairs fill the terrace, along with a retro red cooler and a lifeguard chair; the pool itself is reserved for hotel guests. The bar has 54 seats and opens onto an almost 360-degree view: Victoria Harbour, the skyline of Hong Kong Island and the hills above Central.

Light cocktails and SoCal cuisine

The signature cocktails, at HK$148, favour freshness and local, seasonal ingredients, with alcohol-free versions of some creations. On the food side, Southern California and Latin America meet Asia: tacos, tuna tostada, barbecued octopus, duck nachos, smash burgers and citrus prawns, to share facing the panorama. At weekends, a Baja-inspired brunch is served, and the bar regularly hosts DJ nights and themed parties.

Open Sunday to Thursday from 5pm to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 1am. Sunday to Thursday, from 5pm to 7.30pm, Sunset Hour offers drinks at reduced prices and sharing bites.
