Ozone: cocktails on the 118th floor, above Victoria Harbour

Set on the West Kowloon waterfront, the International Commerce Centre houses the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong on its top floors. The hotel bar occupies the 118th level, which places it among the highest bars in the world. The room plays the futuristic card, with its bluish lights, low banquettes and floor-to-ceiling windows. From up there, the towers of Central look tiny: the eye travels across the harbour towards Hong Kong Island and its hills, then towards the districts of Kowloon.

Terrace, DJs and small plates

Part of the bar extends onto an outdoor terrace, much in demand at sunset, when the city lights come on one by one. A DJ livens up the evenings. The menu lines up Champagnes, fine wines and spirits, classic cocktails at HK$208 and a more luxurious house creation built around an aged whisky. On the food side, small sharing plates, sushi, oysters and caviar. On Sundays, a brunch takes over.

Practical information

Open Monday to Friday from 4pm to 1am, on Saturdays from 2pm to 1am, on Sundays from noon to midnight, on public holidays from 2pm to midnight. Minimum spend of HK$200 per person indoors and HK$500 on the terrace, plus 10% service charge. Smart casual dress: no flip-flops, sandals or sportswear; for men, no vests or open-toed shoes, and long trousers required after 9pm. Children aged 15 and under are admitted before 9pm.
