The Pulitzer hotel stands on the corner of Maipú and Paraguay streets, in the Retiro neighbourhood, between pedestrianised Florida street and Plaza San Martín. On the 13th floor, its terrace has been designed like a seaside patio: white bar counter and railings, pale wood, flowering planters and small trees. The bar is open to hotel guests and the public alike, so you will meet travellers from all over the world as well as Porteños leaving the office. At sunset, the view stretches over the rooftops, terraces and towers of the centre, before the city lights up.

House cocktails and tapas

The bartenders put together a menu of signature cocktails based on vodka, gin, whisky, rum or tequila, with the star of the show being the “Lord Pulitzer”, a blend of gin, Cynar, vermouth and grapefruit, alongside great classics such as the negroni, the old fashioned or the Aperol spritz. To go with them, tapas: mini burgers, patatas bravas, spinach croquettes, tempura prawns, empanadas or a platter of cheeses and cold cuts. Musicians perform in the evening during the season, in a chill-out, bossa nova or soul vein.
